Cardamom Rose Coffee Creamer

Cardamom Rose Coffee Creamer. Exotic, tantalizing, and easy to make! | Mossy Meadow Farm

I am about to blow your mind with the most exotic and tantalizing coffee creamer that you can make in your own kitchen. Forget an expensive latte—you can totally wow your friends by having an in-home coffee date.

This is a bonus recipe from my eBook on coffee creamers. If you want to check out all the other flavors, you can do that here. Trust me, you’ll become addicted to these (in a good way!) and want to try every single one!

This one is different from all the other flavors I’ve concocted because it uses one very special ingredient: Rose Hydrosol. Oh yea. So amazing. Did you know you can use them in cooking?? They are not just for body care!! Just like essential oils, you will want to make sure you use a high quality one (I prefer organic) for best flavor and health. Check out the end of the post for a few suggestions on places to find them. You can also try your hand at creating your own cheater version of rose hydrosol. Just be sure to use unsprayed roses from nature or your garden, not the grocery store or florist variety!!

Cardamom Rose Coffee Creamer. Exotic, tantalizing, and easy to make! | Mossy Meadow Farm

Cardamom Rose Coffee Creamer

Ingredients

  • 1 can coconut milk (I prefer full fat)

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 2/3 cup powdered milk

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (I prefer organic)

  • 5 drops cardamom essential oil

  • 1/2 cup rose hydrosol

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan gently melt the butter. Add in the can of coconut milk and just warm it up a little. This will help to dissolve the sugar and powdered milk.

  2. White you are heating the butter and coconut milk add the powdered milk and sugar to a medium sized bowl.

  3. Add the warmed butter mixture to the powdered milk mixture.

  4. Using an immersion blender, or hand mixer, whip everything together until the sugar and milk are melted.

  5. Add in the cardamom essential oil and rose hydrosol and give it one last whip to combine all the ingredients.

  6. Store in the fridge in a glass jar with a lid.

  7. You will most likely need to give it a good shake right before using as the coconut milk tends to separate.

  8. Use as you would regular coffee creamer.

If you are unable to grow your own herbs, or find ingredients locally, then here are two of my favorite places to buy bulk ingredients:

This company is where I purchase the majority of my seeds. Great selection of heirloom and/or organic seeds:

These are hands down my favorite seed starting trays and pots. These are heavy duty and don’t crumple when you pop your plants out! Definitely worth the investment in my opinion.

Remember, you can also try your hand at creating your own cheater version of rose hydrosol. Just be sure to use unsprayed roses from nature or your garden, not the grocery store or florist variety!!

Enjoy! I’d love to know if you try this and what you think!! Let me know in the comments! 😊
